Overview
CommTrax consolidates registers from multiple RTU devices into a single low-bandwidth package, so instrumentation can be polled efficiently over Ethernet 10/100Base. The Modbus TCP port works as both client and server, and CommTrax can map several RTU devices onto one Modbus TCP server map.
Threshold rule templates watch Modbus data continuously and raise SNMP traps when alarm conditions appear. A web-based interface shows site conditions from any browser, with real-time register polling, reporting, charting, CSV data logging and SD-card firmware upgrades.
