Overview
The Adam Equipment PT 312-10 Platform Scale is the largest deck in the Adam Equipment PT platform family, built to weigh pallets, crates and large containers on warehouse and factory floors. The platform covers a capacity of 10,000 lb (4500 kg) with a readability of 2.0 lb (1.0 kg), repeatability of 4 lb (2000 g) and linearity of 4 lb (2000 g). Its mild steel base measures 47.2 x 47.2 in (1200 x 1200 mm) with an overall height of only 110 mm, so pallet trucks and loads roll on easily, and four load cells excited at 5 to 10 V drive the signal to the connected indicator over a 3 m (10 ft) shielded cable.
The PT 312-10 platform is a weighing base intended to pair with Adam Equipment indicators (such as the AE503 or GK-S), which supply weighing units, external calibration, RS-232/USB connectivity and applications including checkweighing, parts counting, percent weighing and dynamic animal weighing. Stabilization time is 2 seconds, and the scale operates from -10°C to 40°C (14 to 104°F). The complete unit has a net weight of 103 kg, and Adam Equipment backs the PT platform series with a three-year warranty.
