Overview
The AM1760 series secondary SPRTs are built for daily laboratory use, with an accuracy of ±0.006 °C at 0.01 °C, short-term stability better than 0.002 °C, and an RTPW drift of less than 4 mK after 100 hours at 661 °C. A uniquely designed support structure and filling material balance hysteresis, mechanical shock and thermal shock performance to keep the platinum sensing wire stable at high temperatures.
The probe uses a 100 Ω sensing element with a temperature coefficient of 0.003925 Ω/Ω/°C and 4-wire Teflon-insulated copper leads 2 m long with spade connections. The Inconel sheath and a sensor located 0.2 in from the tip give a response time of 9 seconds, and each probe ships with an ISO 17025 accredited calibration plus a carrying case.
