Overview

The AEMC 5231 Handheld Multimeter is rated IEC61010 600V CAT IV and provides volt, ohm, continuity and diode functions. It also has an AC voltmeter function with low input impedance that can find ghost voltages by adding a burden to the circuit.

Features

• Non-contact voltage detection (NCV function); the display turns red near a live cable in the OFF NCV position
• High sensitivity with a resolution of 0.01 mV
• AC voltmeter with low input impedance and AC/DC voltmeter with high input impedance
• Ohmmeter, continuity test with buzzer and diode test
• AC/DC current measurement up to 600 A with a current clamp accessory
• Withstands overloads up to 8000 V
• VLowZ function detects ghost voltage by placing a burden on the circuit
• Multi-position mounting for hands-free work
