AEMC 6534 Insulation Tester
Overview
Beyond insulation resistance, the 6534 measures TRMS AC/DC voltage to 700 V, resistance to 1000 kΩ and continuity at 20 mA or 200 mA with fuse-less active protection. A timed test mode runs up to 40 minutes, the Test Lock feature holds the output for hands-free measurements, and automatic discharge de-energizes the sample after each test.
A test is inhibited automatically if more than 25 V is detected on the sample. Up to 1,300 measurements can be stored in memory and retrieved over Bluetooth 2.1 with the included DataView software. The instrument runs on six AA batteries, offers a blue backlit dual display with analog bargraph, and is rated 600 V CAT IV.
