Overview
The DM-T-50 belongs to AMETEK's Type T family of re-entrant piston/cylinder deadweight testers. Applying test fluid to both the inside and outside of the cylinder reduces piston clearance as pressure rises, which lowers fluid leakage and lengthens float time during a test.
The tester is built for daily industrial as well as laboratory use, with 300-series stainless steel and Monel wetted parts, a lever-actuated dual-volume hand pump, and non-magnetic die-cast alloy weights. Each unit is supplied NIST traceable, calibrated to standard gravity.
