Overview
The PTC155B115BM06XXXXFCX is the B version of the AMETEK JOFRA PTC-155 professional dry-block temperature calibrator, covering -25 to 155°C (-13 to 311°F). The B model carries both a reference sensor input and a sensor-under-test input, so the instrument can read an external JOFRA STS reference probe and the device under test at the same time, with 4-20 mA transmitter input including a 24 V loop supply.
Its active dual-zone block controls the upper and lower heating zones independently, which keeps homogeneity in the calibration zone close to that of a liquid bath and removes the need for extra insulation of the sensor under test. This order code decodes as 115 VAC power with a US/Canada cord, M06 multi-hole insert (1/4, 4 mm, 3/16, 1/8 and 3/8 in holes), F traceable calibration certificate and CX protective carrying case. A stability indicator with countdown timer, USB communication, JOFRACAL software and a free-piston Stirling cooler (FPSC) heat pump complete the package.
