Overview

The STS-050 reads -50 to 400 °C (-58 to 752 °F) with 0.005 °C repeatability, 0.01 °C hysteresis at 0 °C and typical stability of 0.014 °C at 0 °C after 100 hours at 400 °C. The sensing element is a Pt100 with α = 0.00385 per IEC-751 on the ITS-90 scale, and individual probe coefficients are stated on the certificate so the paired indicator converts resistance to temperature without drift. Self-heating is 0.06 °C/mW at the recommended 1 mA measurement current, and response times run 8 seconds to 50% and 26 seconds to 90%.

This DH configuration pairs option D, a 1 m cable with a Redel connector that carries the built-in memory chip for DTI050 indicators, with option H, an ISO 17025 accredited certificate. The solid sheath is built for direct immersion in baths and dry wells and the probe is handled by its grip; ambient limits are -20 to 70 °C with IP 50 protection. Calibration points are taken across the working range, and the traceable certificate documents the probe-specific coefficients used by AMETEK readouts.
