Overview
The JOFRA STS-200 is a Superior Temperature Standard (STS) Pt100 reference sensor used as the external reference in dry-block and liquid-bath calibrations. Compared with a calibrator's internal sensor, an external reference placed next to the device under test reduces uncertainty from loading and gradients.
The order code describes this probe: A for the 4 mm (0.16 in) diameter, 970 for the 90° angled high-temperature version rated 0 to 700 °C, E for the 0.5 m cable with LEMO/Redel connector and H for an accredited ISO 17025 calibration certificate. The sensor stores its "intelligence" so compatible JOFRA calibrators read its calibration data automatically.
