Overview

The Ametek MG DM-T-100 Weight Set serves the DM-T-100 dual-column, dual piston/cylinder configuration of the Ametek Type T hydraulic deadweight tester family. Two weight sets give the tester two usable ranges, 10 to 1,000 PSI with 5 PSI increments and 100 to 10,000 PSI with 50 PSI increments, and range changes are made instantly without changing pistons. Pressure is indicated to 0.1% accuracy of reading, calibrated to standard gravity and NIST traceable.

Type T testers use a re-entrant piston and cylinder design that reduces fluid leakage and increases float time at high pressures, with an overhung weight carrier that minimizes side thrust and friction and over-pressure protection to prevent piston damage. Each unit ships with the hydraulic pump, weights and case, tools, a manufacturer NIST certificate and instructions. Weights are hard non-magnetic alloy, with stainless steel used on higher-accuracy variants and aluminum for small incremental weight sets.
