Overview
The Type T uses a re-entrant piston/cylinder design that reduces leakage as pressure rises, increasing float time. An overhung weight carrier lowers the centre of gravity, reducing side thrust and friction.
Wetted parts are 300-series stainless steel and Monel, and the tester works with water/alcohol mix or hydraulic oil. Over-pressure protection prevents piston damage if weights are removed under pressure.
