Overview
The TQD-1000B belongs to AMETEK's M&G Type T family of hydraulic deadweight testers. A re-entrant piston/cylinder assembly applies fluid to the inside and outside of the cylinder, reducing clearance and leakage as pressure rises, which lengthens float time and preserves accuracy at high pressure.
The overhung weight carrier lowers the center of gravity of the weight stack to cut side thrust, and positive over-pressure protection guards the piston if weights are removed under pressure. A dual-volume hand pump fills the system quickly at low pressure and switches to a smaller volume for fine control near 1000 bar. The tester runs on a distilled water/alcohol mix or AAA tester oil.
