Overview
The PK II generates pressure from fundamental units of force and area: supplied gas flow lifts the floating ball and weight carrier, and the self-regulating flow design keeps weights floating without operator adjustment, eliminating the need to rotate weights during a test.
The rugged ceramic measuring ball and closed-cover operation give stable low-pressure calibration in the field, and the tester connects with a 1/4 in female NPT port to the unit under test. It is shipped with the tester and weights in a carrying case with a NIST traceable certificate.
