Overview
The Amprobe AMP-25 Mini Clamp Meter packs professional clamp functionality into a pocket-sized 5.8-inch body. It measures AC and DC load current up to 300 A with 10 mA resolution on a 6000-count autoranging display, and its inrush function captures motor start-up current. A low-pass filter keeps readings usable on variable frequency drives, while true-rms processing delivers accuracy in noisy electrical environments.
Non-contact voltage (NCV) detection checks for live conductors without contact, and DCA zero plus data hold simplify day-to-day measurements. With a 25 mm (1.0 in) jaw opening, CAT III 600 V safety rating, 120 cm drop resistance and auto power off, the AMP-25 is built as a fast troubleshooting companion for commercial electricians and electrical contractors who need spot checks without carrying a full-size clamp.
