Overview
The S820E is built on a true 4-channel receiver design, giving bench-style VNA performance in a handheld, battery-operated instrument. Standard measurements include return loss, VSWR, cable loss, distance-to-fault, Smith chart and phase, with optional VNA and vector voltmeter modes adding fully reversing S-parameter and A/B ratio measurements.
The 8.4 inch touchscreen switches between daylight and nighttime viewing, and USB plus Ethernet ports support full remote control. The calibration temperature window of ±10 °C keeps measurements valid across field conditions, and the design is compliant with MIL-PRF-28800F Section 4.5.6.3 for explosive atmospheres.
