Overview
The 1327D comparator family gives calibration labs a secondary standard for quick gauge checks without a primary deadweight standard, and the 1327DBG-250 variant ships with bar-scaled model 1082 test gauges covering 0/40 and 0/250 bar. Each 4½-inch gauge is temperature compensated, carries a calibration chart and meets ASME B40.1 grade 3A at ±0.25% of span — a 4:1 accuracy ratio against 1% FS industrial gauges.
A two-stage hydraulic pump with integral shuttle valve raises pressure quickly at low settings and finely at the top of the range; the same pump, tools and case are shared with the 1305D deadweight tester. The unit runs on SAE 20 machine oil from an approximately 0.7 liter reservoir, reaches a 10,000 psi maximum operating pressure, and packs the generation unit plus gauges into one 10 x 10 x 22 inch carrying case.
