Overview
The ATE-2 base unit includes application-specific firmware for calibrating and setting measurement and control devices, along with data logging of associated results. Standard firmware features cover minimum/maximum, tare, programmable damping, percent function and switch test, and a built-in power supply energizes the device under test during loop work. A large 1.5 × 2.5 inch LCD shows readings clearly in the field.
Communication runs over a standard USB port, and an SD memory card slot expands storage, with data logging capacity up to 16,000 records. FM, CSA and ATEX intrinsically safe versions are available as options for hazardous locations. Typical users include gas pipeline and transmission crews, refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, power generation, calibration laboratories and pharmaceutical facilities.
