Overview

Ashcroft's C-600A-02 Duratemp is a gas-actuated, movementless dial thermometer that eliminates the mechanical linkage of conventional bimetal instruments, so there is virtually nothing to wear and no head or elevation error from bulb placement. Vibration and shock resistance suits it to pumps, compressors, refinery and offshore service. The Maxivision anti-parallax dial with black markings on white minimizes reading errors, and the epoxy-coated aluminum case with hinged ring allows easy glass replacement or pointer adjustment.

This configured unit (ordering code 600A-02-C12-B01-A1-L01-BS-X-NH) uses a 4-1/2 inch flush-mount case with rear connection, a 12-inch bendable bulb extension with 1/2 inch NPT union in AISI 302 stainless spring armor, a 5 ft capillary and a 0 to 120 °C single range. The 3-inch by 3/8-inch bulb, 316 stainless steel thermal system and 125% of span over-range rating support process temperature indication in demanding installations.
