Overview
As the high-voltage member of the 8500B series, the 8502B covers inputs the rest of the family cannot: its constant-voltage range extends to 500 V while sibling models stop at 150 V. Front-panel terminals accept banana plugs or spade lugs, and operating modes switch between constant current, voltage, resistance and power.
Dynamic testing uses programmable slew rates and a transient mode reaching 10 kHz, with list, battery and automatic test modes for longer sequences. One hundred internal memory sets recall complete configurations, and remote control over USB or RS-232 (with the optional adapter) integrates the load into automated racks.
