Overview
The B&K Precision DAS1800-BAT Modular DAQ Recorder is the battery-equipped configuration of the DAS1800 high-speed modular data acquisition recorder. The base unit provides ten slots for measurement modules, supporting up to 80 analog inputs with D18-MUX8 multiplexed modules, and can simultaneously measure and record up to 40 channels at 1 MSa/s per channel while streaming directly to the 2 TB internal solid-state drive. The internal, non-removable lithium-ion battery delivers up to 3.5 hours of continuous field operation (about 1.5 hours with ten D18-UNI4 modules installed).
Weighing about 15 lbs (6.8 kg) with the battery installed, the DAS1800-BAT is the lightest all-in-one system in its class, and each module adds roughly 0.55 kg. A 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) touchscreen simplifies setup with pinch-and-zoom navigation, customizable dashboards, and a built-in sensor library, while the free DASpro software handles PC-side review. Interfaces include USB 3.0 (x2), USB 2.0 (x2), 1 Gbps LAN, and HDMI, plus 16 digital input channels, four digital outputs, and a dedicated 5 W power rail for sensor excitation at +3.3 V, +5 V, +12 V, or +24 V.
