Cole-Parmer WD-35635-00 Turbidity Meter, Oakton T-100 Waterproof, 0 to 1000 NTU
Overview
The T-100 measures turbidity at a 90° scattering angle using an 850 nm infrared LED and a silicon photovoltaic detector, with automatic range selection from 0.01 to 1000 NTU. Accuracy is ±2% of reading ±1 LSD up to 500 NTU and ±3% of reading ±1 LSD above, with a response time under 6 seconds for a full step change.
Calibration uses four EPA-approved polymer-based primary standards (0.02, 20, 100, and 800 NTU), and the indexed borosilicate sample vials take only 10 ml of sample. The IP67-rated ABS housing and battery life of more than 1200 readings on four AAA cells make it a practical field instrument for water-quality work.
