Dwyer Instruments 43320B Pressure Switch

Overview

The Series 43000 Capsu-Photohelic functions as a precise pressure gage combined with a highly repeatable pressure switch. Its encapsulated sensing element suits both compatible gases and liquids at system pressures to 500 psig, and the brass-case version is specified for water or water-based liquids.

Two phototransistor-actuated DPDT relays provide low and high limit control, with setpoints adjusted by knobs on the gage face. Individual setpoint deadband is less than 1% of full scale, and setpoints can be interlocked for variable deadband, ideal for control of pumps.

Features

  • 4-inch Magnehelic-style gage with encapsulated sensing element
  • Range 10-0-10 in w.c. (bidirectional)
  • Cast brass case for water or water-based liquids
  • Two phototransistor-actuated DPDT relays, 2 Form C per setpoint
  • Setpoint knobs on gage face with deadband less than 1% of full scale
  • ±3% of full scale accuracy at 70 °F
  • System pressure capability to 500 psig
  • 1/4-inch female NPT process connections

Applications

  • Pump control and pumping systems
  • Low/high limit control on compatible gas or liquid lines
  • Filter and differential pressure monitoring in process and HVAC service
