GE Panametrics AT868 Ultrasonic Flow Transmitter, Capable of Two-Channel Operation
Overview
The GE Panametrics AT868 is a transit-time ultrasonic flow transmitter in a package that installs at the process measurement point. An optional second channel measures flow in two pipes or averages two paths on the same pipe for increased accuracy. The onboard microprocessor applies digital signal coding and correlation detection routines, automatically adjusting to changing fluid properties.
Features
- Non-intrusive transit-time ultrasonic flow measurement
- Clamp-on and wetted transducer options for pipes from 12.7 mm to 7.6 m (and larger)
- Velocity, volumetric and totalized flow measurement
- Two-channel / two-path version available
- Two 0/4 to 20 mA isolated outputs plus frequency/totalizer outputs
- Internal keypad for field programming
- 2-line x 16-character backlit LCD display
- Epoxy-coated aluminum enclosure, NEMA 4X / IP66
Applications
- Potable and wastewater flow monitoring
- Cooling and heating water systems
- Sewage and discharge water measurement
