Overview

The Isotech MILLIK 923 Digital Thermometer is a precision measuring instrument built for calibration laboratories and light industrial environments. It reads platinum resistance thermometers, thermistors, thermocouples and process instrumentation (4-20 mA) across a temperature span of -270 °C to 1820 °C, with two input channels for sensors and a third channel for current. Using a Sigma Delta analogue-to-digital converter, the display resolves 0.0001 °C (0.1 mK), backed by a true measurement resolution of 28 µΩ, equivalent to about 0.07 mK on PRT inputs.

Accuracy is specified at better than ±5 ppm over range for SPRTs/PRTs (3 mK at 0 °C initial, 5 mK over the full range), ±2 µV for thermocouples and ±1 µA for transmitters, with a 1-year drift budget also published. Beyond measurement, the milliK can control Isotech temperature sources such as dry blocks and liquid baths, sequencing through a programmable list of set points while logging readings to internal memory or a USB drive. Channel expansion to 33 inputs makes it suitable as the core of a complete calibration bench.
