Overview

The Keysight 34925A is a multiplexer module for the 34980A multifunction switch/measure unit that uses long-life, solid-state optically isolated FET relays instead of mechanical reeds. It provides 40 two-wire channels, 20 four-wire channels or 80 one-wire channels, and two- and four-wire channels can be mixed on the same module when a test needs different wiring schemes.

Because the FET switches have no moving contacts, the module sustains scanning at up to 1,000 channels per second for high-volume automated test systems, and a relay cycle counter helps predict contact wear and schedule maintenance. Switching capability is rated at ±80 V peak and 20 mA with thermal offsets below 3 µV, and standard 50-pin D-sub connectors accept standard cables, terminal blocks or mass interconnect solutions.
