Overview

The DAQ970MB combines the DAQ970A mainframe - USB and LAN standard, with an internal 6.5-digit (22-bit) digital multimeter - and three DAQM901A 20-channel multiplexer modules for 60 multiplexer channels plus 6 dedicated current measurement channels. Two- and four-wire scanning handles thermocouples, RTDs and thermistors, and the built-in reference junction removes external ice-bath hardware.

The measurement set covers AC/DC voltage and current, resistance to 1000 MΩ, frequency/period, diode test and capacitance, with 1 µA DC and 100 µA AC low-current ranges. Scanned data is stored in 100,000 readings of non-volatile memory, hi/low alarm limits run on four TTL alarm outputs, and automatic calibration keeps the DMM accurate; programs written for the 34970A/34972A migrate directly.
