Keysight N6781A Source Measure Unit
Overview
The N6781A mounts in N6700C low-profile modular power system and N6705C DC power analyzer mainframes and is optimized for battery drain analysis of mobile and IoT devices. Its four current measurement ranges with seamless, glitch-free ranging capture wake, sleep and shutdown currents down to the microampere level.
Built-in battery emulator, battery charger and ammeter modes let the module stand in for the battery during firmware bring-up and power profiling. A 200 kHz digitizer samples current every 5 µs to catch short transients, while programmable output resistance, a 100 kHz DC modulation capability and an auxiliary DVM input round out the test setup. Control and display come through Keysight's 14585A software.
