Overview
The A034E belongs to Maury's gage kit series of precision connector gages. The gages thread onto the connector under test so the reading reflects the recess or protrusion of the center conductor relative to the outer conductor reference plane.
The kit holds a female and a male gage assembly, matching master setting gages and alignment beads, all made from stainless steel and stored in a foam-lined wooden case. Regular gaging helps protect VNA test ports, beadless air lines and flush-setting sliding loads from damage caused by out-of-tolerance connectors.
