Overview
The Newport CTXL Circular Chart Recorder combines form and function in an easy-to-use two-channel circular chart recorder with a large 200 mm (8 in) diameter chart and a dual-channel LCD readout. The custom LCD displays the current values of both channels and can also indicate minimum, maximum, or average input values, along with chart speed, battery status, high and low alarm indication, and keypad lockout status. Chart speeds of 1, 7, or 32 days let users match the recording interval to the application, using double-sided 203 mm (8 in) circular charts.
The CTXL is offered in five models: ambient temperature and relative humidity, wireless temperature/RH with an RF range of up to 90 m (300 ft) line of sight, dual thermocouple (J, K, T), dual process (1 V, 5 V, 10 V, or 0/4 to 20 mA), or pH with a Pt100 RTD temperature sensor for automatic compensation. High/low alarms are provided as audible-visual alarms plus dual relays with contact closures and dual voltage outputs to drive external relays. Each unit ships complete with 120 assorted double-sided charts, two pen sets, a wall mount kit, four D-cell batteries, an RS-232 cable and adapter, and a universal AC adapter, and it can run on a benchtop or be wall-mounted.
