Pico Technology TA518 VNA E-Cal Calibration Kit

Overview

Instead of connecting separate short, open, load and through standards, the TA518 switches between its internal standards, so a full two-port calibration needs just one connection. Power, control and data transfer are handled by the PicoVNA software over a micro USB link, which makes calibration faster, more repeatable and less prone to operator error.

The standards are held at a stable temperature by a fast-warming oven, and their full S-parameter characterization is stored inside the module and read out over USB. Each kit is calibrated against traceable PC3.5 standards and supplied in a protective case.
