Tektronix P6248 Differential Probe

Overview

The P6248 is designed for time- and frequency-domain measurements on high-bandwidth signals found in disk-drive read channels, digital IC design (RAMBUS) and communications such as Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE-1394 FireWire and Fibre Channel. Small probe-head geometry with assorted tip accessories makes manual probing of surface-mount devices practical while maintaining high CMRR.

Differential input capacitance below 1 pF with 200 kΩ input resistance keeps circuit loading negligible. The probe is tolerant to electrostatic discharge to 15 kV and includes accessories for RAMBUS via-probing and IEEE-1394 interconnect access.
