Tektronix P7708 TriMode Probe

Overview

The P7708 uses TekFlex connector technology with active solder-down tips that place the probe's input buffer only millimeters from the connection point. This short signal path provides high impedance input, low loading, minimal capacitance and low additive noise, and a browser accessory is available for handheld or fixtured probing along with an SMA coaxial adapter.

Probe and tip specific S-parameters drive full AC calibration of the signal path, with unique DSP filters created for each probe and tip combination. The TekConnect interface gives direct control from the probe buttons or the oscilloscope menus, with automatic recognition when attached. Typical uses include DDR/LPDDR memory verification, high-speed serial bus debugging and MIPI, HDMI and DisplayPort compliance testing.
