Overview

The T3CP150-12 covers both DC and AC measurements with high and low range/sensitivity selection, degaussing and automatic zero, and dual over-current indicators protect the probe. The 20 mm jaw clamps conductors up to 150 A rms with 300 A peak pulse capability, and measurement accuracy reaches up to 1% with low insertion loss into the measured circuit.

Because it connects through a BNC cable to a 1 MΩ oscilloscope input, the probe is not tied to a specific instrument family - it suits switching power supply, motor drive, electric vehicle and UPS design and test alike. Teledyne LeCroy supplies the probe with an external universal power supply (DC 12 V / 1 A) and a set of universal plug adaptors, so it travels between benches and field setups without reconfiguration.
