Overview

The ZS1500 belongs to Teledyne LeCroy's ZS Series of high-impedance active probes. Combining high input resistance with low input capacitance keeps circuit loading low across the full bandwidth, where a passive probe would distort fast signals. It suits oscilloscopes of around 1 GHz bandwidth.

Through the ProBus interface the probe is powered and controlled from the oscilloscope front panel, so no separate supply is needed. A wide range of tips, leads and adapters lets it reach fine-pitch test points.
