Overview

Weights of 1 kg and below are manufactured from Troemner Alloy 8, a high-grade stainless steel with closely controlled density, extremely low magnetic properties, good stability and corrosion resistance. Weights above 1 kg are made from 316 stainless steel. All weights are two-piece cylindrical designs with a handling knob and a highly polished finish that meets or exceeds OIML R 111 surface requirements.

This F1 class set provides tight tolerances with mass uncertainties of less than one quarter of the tolerance, making it suitable for verifying high-resolution laboratory balances and scales. The complete set ships in a protective case with defined compartment dimensions, and every weight is manufactured in the USA.
