Overview
The BE-201F cools a bath immediately by immersing the cooling coil directly into the fluid, using a flexible SUS 304 stainless steel coil (15 mm O.D. x 500 mm) that can be easily bent to fit various bath shapes and capacities. A reciprocating 160 W compressor with R134a refrigerant does the work, and an overcurrent circuit breaker improves safety.
The unit runs from a 220 V single-phase supply and comes with handles for convenient carrying around the laboratory. With an operating temperature range of -20 to +35 °C it suits water baths, circulating baths and, with the optional aluminum cold trap (product code 221481), solvent recovery applications in organic synthesis.
