Overview
The AM1660 series from AccuMac comprises precision industrial PRTs (IPRTs) built for reference-grade temperature measurement in tough conditions. The AM1660-12 uses a wire-wound sensing element whose supporting structure and filling material are designed to balance hysteresis, mechanical shock and thermal shock performance while protecting the platinum wire from contamination at high temperatures. It follows the standard 385 (DIN/IEC 751) curve and covers -200 to 670 °C.
The probe comes with an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration as standard, so it can be put straight into use as a working reference. A 12-inch Inconel sheath resists harsh environments, and long-term drift is below 0.03 °C at 0 °C after 100 hours at maximum temperature, with short-term stability below 0.01 °C.
