Overview
The Adam Equipment LAB 84e Analytical Balance is part of the Luna analytical balance family, offering 80 g capacity with 0.0001 g readability for fine weighing in laboratories. Luna balances pair a vivid backlit LCD with 24 mm digits and color-coded keys, so frequently used functions are easy to identify at a glance, while the sealed keypad protects the control panel against dirt and spills. The balance sits on adjustable feet with an integral level indicator to ensure proper setup for optimum results.
Weighing takes place inside a glass draft shield with a grade 304 stainless steel pan that wipes clean quickly between samples. Metrology performance is specified at 0.0002 g repeatability (standard deviation) and 0.0003 g linearity, with external calibration using test weights. Application modes cover basic weighing, parts counting, percentage weighing, dynamic weighing for live samples, density determination and checkweighing, and results can be sent to a PC or printer through both RS-232 and USB interfaces. A weigh-below hook supports density work, and GLP printouts include date and time for traceability within quality systems.
