Overview
Two hand-tight quick connectors are installed on the pump for both the test gauge and the reference gauge, so instruments connect and disconnect without PTFE tape or wrenches. The 927 works as a comparison test pump for calibrating pressure gauges, indicators and transducers in the field or laboratory, and Additel positions it alongside its handheld digital test gauges for portable calibration setups.
The N pressure-port type denotes 1/4 NPT female fittings; other port types in the 927 family include 1/2 NPT, 1/4 BSP, 1/2 BSP and M20 × 1.5 female. The pump runs on hydraulic oil as the default media (the 927W variant is ordered for deionized water), holds a 245 ml reservoir, weighs only 7 lb (3.2 kg) and carries a stainless steel ram and adapters. SET model variants add a carrying case, and mineral oil and spare O-rings are included.
