Overview
The 6050-5000 SWR Site Analyzer verifies antenna system performance with SWR, return loss and FDR measurements in a single hand-held unit. Frequency domain reflectometry locates faults along the cable from 35 ft to over 10,000 ft (10 m to over 3,300 m), and one-button auto-tune sweeps to find the frequency where the antenna shows its best SWR or return loss. User-selectable limit lines let technicians judge pass or fail at a glance while tuning.
The instrument measures impedance from 10 to 5000 Ohms and can display resistance, reactance, impedance magnitude and angle, SWR and gamma angle across 250-point frequency plots refreshed 2.5 times per second. Automatic internal calibration with self-test, an optional external calibration and a cable-null feature support accurate measurements, and up to 50 plots and setups can be saved, recalled on the unit or uploaded to a PC with the included Site Analyzer PC Vision software. The quarter-VGA backlit color display offers user-customizable colors for daylight readability, and the NiMH battery pack provides about three hours of continuous operation.
