AEMC MF 3000-10-2-1 MiniFlex Flexible Current Sensor, 300/3000 A AC, 10 in
Overview
The MiniFlex MF 3000-10-2-1 (cat. #2126.82) is a compact flexible AC current transformer made up of a 10-inch air-core sensor and an electronic module. The flexible loop fits into confined spaces and around irregular or bundled conductors where rigid clamp-on probes cannot be used.
Because it uses no magnetic core, the MiniFlex presents virtually no load to the circuit, has low phase shift and cannot be damaged by overloads. Its mV/A output gives direct true-RMS readings on multimeters, data loggers, oscilloscopes and power or harmonic analyzers. DC components are not measured.
Features
- Two ranges: 300 A and 3000 A AC rms
- Output 10 mV/A and 1 mV/A
- Accuracy ±(1% + 0.25 A)
- 10 in flexible sensor for conductors up to 70 mm
- Frequency range 10 Hz to 3 kHz
- Air-core design: no overload damage, low phase shift
- 600 V CAT IV / 1000 V CAT III
Applications
- Current measurement in crowded panels and switchgear
- Power quality and harmonic analysis with external meters
- Load surveys with data loggers and oscilloscopes
