Overview
The ASM-800 system handles 2-, 3- and 4-wire RTDs, thermocouples, transmitters, thermistors, temperature switches and voltage signals, and stacking up to three units expands coverage to 24 sensors, with channel 1 reserved for the temperature reference sensor. True Ohm measurement drives a 4-wire measurement at 0.8 mA and reads the error EMF at zero current to cancel thermal EMFs, and ASM-801 and ASM-803 units (A and B) provide 24 V loop power for 4-20 mA transmitters. The reference sensor input accuracy is 0.026°C, and the scanning rate reaches 5 channels per second.
JOFRA CAL software (JOFRACAL) plans and executes simultaneous semi-automatic calibration of up to 24 pressure and temperature devices under test, storing results and audit-trail certificates, while JOFRALOG logs data from the multi-scanner to Microsoft Excel-compatible files. Connection is by RS-232, power comes from a 90-254 V, 45-65 Hz mains adapter, and order numbers combine the model (ASM801), version (A basic or B with measuring), certificate (F traceable or H accredited) and options such as a carrying case.
