Overview
The RTC-157 is the low-temperature reference calibrator in AMETEK's RTC line, heating and cooling a dynamic dual-zone block from -45 to 155 °C at 23 °C ambient. The dual-zone design pushes heating and cooling deep into the block, and Dynamic Load Compensation (DLC) offsets the energy drain of plugged-in sensors, so stability reaches ±0.005 °C.
Intelligent reference sensors carry their calibration data on a plug and are recognized as soon as they are connected. Models B and C accept a reference sensor input and reach ±0.04 °C accuracy with the STS-200 sensor; the full-color VGA display, 0.001 °C resolution, USB communication and calibration-report function support accredited laboratory work.
