Overview
The PK II is AMETEK's floating-ball pneumatic deadweight tester for low-pressure calibration. A ceramic ball and the weight stack float on a thin film of air inside the nozzle, so the generated pressure is essentially free of friction, and the flow regulator holds the ball at float without operator input.
The Ametek PK2-404WC-SS-1B/C Pneumatic Deadweight Tester combines the -1B accuracy grade with the /C suffix: the certificate includes effective area, nominal pressure and actual pressure data. The 404WC is one of the two small-case PK II water-column models, with a 4 inH₂O weight carrier and ball output.
