Overview
Insulation resistance is measured in 4, 40, 400 and 4000 MΩ autoranging ranges at 3% + 5 digits accuracy below 2 GΩ, and the programmable timer performs dielectric absorption ratio tests hands-free. The ohmmeter covers 400 Ω and 4000 Ω for checking motor winding resistance, with a continuity beeper alongside, and the 600 V AC/DC voltmeter supports quick safety checks before a megohm test.
The rugged housing carries a 70 x 46 mm LCD with a 60-segment analog bar indicator, sampling at 2.5 readings per second digitally and 10 per second on the bar graph. Safety is rated EN 61010-1 CAT III 600 V and CAT II 1000 V. The unit runs on eight AA batteries and stores up to 4000 test results for later download to a PC with the included software and RS-232 cable.
