Overview
The Type 5503 covers differential ranges from about 10 I.W.D. up to 600 psid, with 1450 psi static pressure standard and optional static pressure ratings of 3625 psi (ranges below 10 psid) or 5801 psi (ranges above 10 psid).
Accuracy is ±1.6% full scale across the range span, on 4 in (100 mm) or 6 in (160 mm) dials, with lower connections in 1/4 or 1/2 NPT and standard purge and bleed connections on top of each pressure chamber.
Features
- A 304 stainless steel open-front case with bayonet ring (316 SS optional), shatterproof glass window and white aluminum dial provide high visibility and corrosion resistance.
- The black aluminum pointer carries an external adjust feature standard, allowing zero correction up to 25% of range without opening the gauge.
- Diaphragm material is 316 stainless steel for ranges of 5 psid and below, and high-strength Duratherm 600 cobalt alloy for ranges of 10 psid and above, with optional Hastelloy C wetted parts.
- Purge and bleed connections are standard on top of each pressure chamber, and the gauge mounts by stem, wall or pipe with optional brackets and a 3-way manifold.
- Options include glycerin fill, weatherproof/hermetically sealed IP65 case, NACE compliance, electric warning contacts and custom flow monitoring dials.
