Ashcroft 600B-01-AY Dial Thermometer

Overview

The C-600B Duratemp series drives its pointer directly from a silicone-damped helical Bourdon tube, eliminating the usual movement gears that wear or misalign under vibration. A gas-operated molecular sieve keeps internal pressure low, so the instrument survives overload and thermal shock without losing calibration.

The -01-AY order code specifies a 6 in stem and a single -200/100 °C range on a 4½ in stainless steel case with bayonet ring. Ranges reach 200/650 °C, well beyond bimetallic limits, and the Everyangle connection lets the case rotate 360° for readable dial positions.

Features

  • -200/100 °C (-328/212 °F) single range (code AY)
  • ±1% of span accuracy to ASME B40.3 Grade A
  • 4½ in stainless steel case with bayonet ring
  • 6 in long, 3/8 in diameter 316 SS stem
  • Movementless direct-drive Bourdon design
  • Gas-operated molecular sieve, mercury free
  • Everyangle connection rotates 360°
  • Overrange protection to 125% of span

Applications

  • Chemical and petrochemical process lines
  • Machine and apparatus construction
  • Pulp and paper, marine and offshore installations
