Overview
The AM2 family comes in two sensor types. AM2-1 low pressure modules use a capacitive sensor for differential and compound measurement from 0.25 to 200 in H2O on clean dry gas, with a maximum static line pressure of 100 psi. AM2-2 medium and high pressure modules use an isolated 316 stainless steel piezoresistive sensor for gauge, absolute, compound and vacuum ranges from 5 to 10,000 psi. Accuracy codes are ±0.025%, ±0.05% or ±0.1% of span (the 10,000 psi range is psig, ±0.1%), with overpressure margins of 200% up to 1,000 psi and 150% above that on AM2-2. Every module connects through a 1/8 in NPT female process connection, with an optional VCR fitting up to 5,000 psi.
Performance holds across the working week: repeatability is ±0.01% of span and sensitivity ±0.002% typical, and the standard temperature effect is ±0.004% of span per °F over the 20 to 120 °F (-7 to 49 °C) compensated range. Enhanced temperature compensation options keep ±0.025% accuracy with no additional ambient error. Each Quick-Select module ships with a traceable calibration certificate, and the interchangeable design lets you swap ranges on the ATE-2 without recalibrating the base unit.
