Overview

The Fluke 54-2 VIP Kit bundles the 54 II B dual input data logging thermometer with the accessories technicians use most: a TPAK ToolPak strap and magnet hanging kit and a C-101 soft carrying case. The thermometer itself accepts two probes simultaneously, measuring J, K, T, E, N, R and S type thermocouples across ranges from -250°C to 1767°C depending on type, with laboratory accuracy of ±(0.05% + 0.3°C) for common types above -100°C.

The large backlit dual display can show T1, T2, the T1-T2 difference and MIN, MAX or AVG in any combination, and a relative time clock on MIN/MAX/AVG references major events. Up to 500 points of data can be logged at a user-adjustable interval and recalled on the meter display, while the infrared USB port exports readings to FlukeView Forms Temperature software for analysis and graphing. An electronic offset function compensates thermocouple errors to maximize overall accuracy, and readouts are available in °C, °F or Kelvin on the ITS-90 scale.
