Overview

The 1551A Stik thermometer is a digital substitute for mercury-in-glass thermometers, accurate and repeatable to ±0.05 °C over its full range. Its stainless steel probe and digital readout are fixed together and calibrated as a system, and the instrument is rated intrinsically safe to ATEX and IECEx requirements for use where potentially explosive gases may be present.

The large backlit LCD rotates 90 degrees for easy reading from any angle, and a user-configurable stability/trend indicator shows when the temperature is stable enough to record an accurate measurement. Resolution is selectable between 0.1, 0.01 and 0.001, and three AAA batteries provide up to 300 hours of operation.
